Crowdfunding A Project

If you have a specific manga or doujinshi project in mind that costs over $50, you can crowdfund its translation!

Here’s how it works:

Select Your Project:
- Choose a single work you want translated, and ensure its cost exceeds $50 based on our current commission prices.
Contact Us:
- Email me at fishtranslations3@gmail.com with details about your chosen work you want to start a crowdfunded the project for.
Make a Deposit:
- Pay a 25% deposit of the total translation cost to kickstart the crowdfunding. This deposit contributes to the funding, and I’ll refund if you decide to end the crowdfunding project (must be active for at least a month)
Crowdfunding Post:
- Once the payment is received, I’ll create a post with [Crowdfunding] in the title announcing the project. It will also be added to the Crowdfunding sidebar
Funding:
- People can donate towards the project. I’ll regularly update the post with the total amount received. If the goal is reached, the translation will be added to the current queue.

Important Rules:

This crowdfunding option is only applicable for single works costing over $50 to translate.
The deposit remains active for at least a month; afterward, you can request to take it down and receive a refund.
When donating, specify the project and amount, ensuring clarity for refund purposes.
